About The Position:

Our Nannies provide dog walking & pet sitting services in the south metro area of Minnesota. We services the following areas: Apple Valley, Lakeville, Farmington, Rosemount, Eagan, Inver Grove Heights, Burnsville, Savage, Shakopee and Prior Lake

We don’t mince words when we describe this position because our team cares for the thing that people love the most in the world (their pals!). So in that spirit:

• You must be good at managing details. We personalize our client’s care to their pals' exact needs. We have a lot of instructions for each and every dog/cat/critter/etc that we work with, and you have to be able to follow those instructions to the letter.
• You need to have good intuition with animals and genuinely love them. We work with lots of different kinds of pets, from very big to very small. And while we provide the training, you must bring to the table a confidence in working with animals and a demonstrated ability to do so.
• You need to have excellent time management skills. On average, our employees do 8-10 appointments a day, and these appointments are most often scheduled back-to-back. You have to be able to manage your time well.
• You must be able to communicate well, both in written form and spoken. We are in the business of giving people peace of mind, and we expect a high degree of clarity in communication in our updates to clients.
• You must be the kind of person that apologizes freely and quickly if you need to, and to be on-board with this type of culture. We are the kind of business that prioritizes amazing customer service above all else, and good customer service means that we are quick to apologize if needed.
• Applicants must pass a criminal background check
• Must have access to their own personal vehicle during scheduled times to work
• Must be 16 years of age
• It is preferred that the applicant lives in one of the cities where they will provide services. This is preferred so you won’t have a long commute between services.

About Who We Hire:

Positions:

Dog Walker:

Part- Time 

Dog Walkers have a typical schedule of working weekdays from 10 am to 2 pm.

Pet Sitter:

Part-Time

Pet Sitters are responsible for our Pal Sitting service. Their schedules are typically completing visits between 6-8 am, 3-5 pm, and 8-10 pm. Pet Sitters are required to work a minimum of 2 weekends a month.
